The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your niceshopx bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.

I love your videos! I have to say this video made me proud of myself because I know most of the brands and order them online for years! A couple of them I didn’t know so I will check them out. My daughter was born in Paris, so of course Paris has a place in my heart! Now that I can order them online I rarely buy anything in Austria! Oh thank you for your lilysilk video. I think it's a bit outrageous for people to be walking around a big city with a $10,000+ designer bag on their arm, you might as well hold up a "please rob me" sign. Secondly, I really don't feel sorry for these brands, they raise their prices at least twice a year, so basically they are driving any potential customers into buying fakes. *gtdupe*

Louis Vuitton Neverfull is a really cheap looking bag. Plus it is not even leather! It is canvas. But so many people buy into the hype and buy this bag, but ultimately they just look tacky.

Another collection of bags that would make me very happy to own. I think the Demellier, Polène, and A.P.C. are my favorites here. But, I have the Basile on my list. I think it is the best value for the money among these and quite unique. Thank you for these suggestions, Alice. 😊😊

I find most that subscribe to quiet luxury dont actually come from old money. Essentially, its no different than wearing logo head to toe or dripping in diamonds when you can't actually afford it.

I’ve always been a thin American girl. People always thought I had an ED and I don’t. I’m a grazer. I will have some snacks throughout the day but it’s an apple with peanut butter or a banana. I don’t eat chips or junk food. It’s also not bad when you’re hungry. We don’t have to be stuffed all the time. Eat until you’re comfortable and satiated, not until you’re put in a food coma. And water isn’t the enemy. If I feel a little hungry outside of a regular meal time, I’ll drink some water, go for a quick walk, and then reassess. If I still feel hungry, I’ll have an apple or something with fiber to get me through to the next meal time

I am both Italian and American having lived half of my life in either country. While the average American diet is unhealthy there are some points worth making: (1) a considerable portion of the American population eats wholesome healthy diets; (2) you can buy good ingredients but they are more expensive than they are in Europe unfortunately; (3) a preponderance portion of the population eats unhealthy diets due to social economic reasons. While I generally appreciate your videos, I found this one arrogant and uneducated.

Make no mistake, French food is not healthy either. It may be easier to remain slim on it, however stuffing your gut full of slightly-less-bad bread and yeast, sweets, alcohol, and loads of cream, butter, and cheese, is not going to yield the best quality of life long-term. That doesn't mean that all French people eat like that, however after spending some time in Europe, it became very clear to me that your cafes are stuffed full of sweets and pastries, your restaurants are full of dense carb and fat-rich meals that sit like bricks in the stomach, and your supermarkets also contain loads of packaged foods that have preservatives and artificial ingredients - yes, all to a lesser degree than American, however it still is not a good representation of healthy eating. It sounds like your mother raised you to eat healthier than the average person, even within your own country.

Can you suggest where one could purchase a Panama hat like yours? Great tips! I love Paris.

I can tell you as an American...do NOT go to Vienna Austria dressed like an American 😂...wearing sweatpants and tank tops is NOT ideal. The people really do not enjoy it, you are bringing down the quality of their city by looking like that haha! I had to go to a store and purchase a 700 dollar coat to cover myself...i was so embarrassed!!

I wore Jean Patou pour home original from 1980, until it was no longer available. In your opinion what currently available would you suggest as a substitute. I realize the exclusive nature of this fragrance. I know so many perfume houses are using synthetic ingredients, Jean Patou is committed to quality. I truly miss wearing this amazing fragrance. I'm American. Whenever I have visited Italy for two weeks, I lose weight, despite eating mostly pasta and never exercising. I can't eat pasta in the U.S. without gaining weight, and I must at least walk daily and count calories
